how to calculate the over current rating of 3phase motor
Answer Posted / k.prakashchandra
Over current rating depends on cooling efficiency of the
motor.e.g. A few Coimbatore motors can run at upto even 150
% of rated load continuously. To set the over load
relay, calculate full load current and add 5 or 10% so that
it does not trip on full load.
