Calculate the line size for a cooling water line with a
volumetric flowrate of 1200m3/h of water. Density of water =
1000kg/m3

Answer Posted / subba rao

you need to specify the velocity required to be taken in
the pipe line, suppose if you take 2m/sec as velocity.divide
volumetric flow rate with velocity ,you will get the area .
if apply formula of area, you will get the diameter of the
pipe.
note :the units to be used to be consistent .
