it is better to study in the us because the usa has more
technology advancement than india.also most usa
universities have more extensive research progarms then
those in the india.thirdly, degrees obtained in the usa
always get more merit than most other universities in other
countries of the world including india...

hi!!! i got 93 in my TOEFL n my GRE is 920 n my BTECH PERCENTAGE IS 56% with 17 baclogs n i completed my engineering(cs) may 2008 n i got an admit from a reputed state universty (mis as my major). guys help me plzzz!!!!!!!!!! can i get the visa IF SO WAT ANSWERS must i say to the VO ven he asked ABT MY baclogs n percentage (n the gap of one year after my btec) help me plzzzzzzzzzz thanx in advance 4r u all1111
I wish to do my graduate studies in one of the us universities in the field of computer science starting Fall 2010 and am waiting admission information from 1-2 univs. Two years back, I had attempted for H1-B visa which was put on hold. Subsequently since I got a good job in India, I did not pursue H1-B visa. Now I wish to continue with my studies after getting some job experience. My problem What shoudl I write in the DS-160 column asking: Whether you had applied for US visa earlier, if so what is the result. Whether I should write: applied for H1-B visa but put on hold or applied for H1-B visa, denied. Whether this will come in the way of my securing F-1 visa now? Hi, my F1 visa interview is on this july24 At Mumbai consulate.....But i have a big confusion with my case.
