virus is an obligate parasite of course it needs a host for replication though most of the virus are having RNA as a genetic material which are less stable than DNA in bacterias which makes the replication rate higher eventually rate of pathogenice protein production level also must be a higer diz may be a reason virus are more pathogenic than bacteria..
