why the generating voltage in India is 11kV or why is it be
transmitted as multiples of 11

its really jst a misconception that generated voltage has to do anythng with form factor...
this is just a hypothesis made by our old generations......
as raman said above that nowadays we are using 230v and even 765kv which is not a multiple of 11...
