We cant estimate the time for testing a product/Software,
as it depends upon the complexisty of the product.When ever
a project is taken up by the company,there would be a
proper schedule for every activity,which includes testing
as well.If it is a long term project then it will have
different phase/cycle. And for every cycle/phase we have to
test for the new features/CR's(Change request)from client
side and for the functionality of maintanence testing.If
all phase/cycle are completed,and defect percentage is as
less as possible and when test manager signs the product
out,we can stop testing.
