The right answer is 1/12
How it is come
assuming that his total share is 1 = 25%
He sold 1/2 of his holding in the first year
i.e. 1-1/2 = 1/2
5/12 i the of remianing share in the subsequent year
i.e. 1/2-5/12
=1/12
The answer is 1/12 part of his business
