if transformer core is made of copper instead of steel which
losses will increase..please explain

hysterisis losses increases bcoz high grade steel is solenly
used in core material to reduce hysterisis losses while
laminated core is used to reduce eddy current losses.and
copper losses occur due to resistences of primary and
secondary windings....
