if the entry is done debit instead of credit, i use to write a bottom note

If your account is debited instead of credit, than what do
you do ? How do you correct your account ?

if the entry is done debit instead of credit, i use to write a bottom note as adjustment before preparing final account, i use to correct in final account, instead of doing any correction in P&L a/c.
