-> IIS only runs on Windows while Apache can run on almost
any OS including UNIX, Apple’s OS X, and on most Linux
Distributions.
-> ASPX runs only in IIS.
->Apache is free while IIS is packaged with Windows.
-> IIS is Microsoft's web server. Apache is a open source
web server.
-> Apache is an open source web server thats supports php,
Apache is known to be open source because the source code is
available for configuration as per your requirements, its a
linux based product. on the other hand IIS is a microsoft
product you need a licence to use it commercially, there is
no way of configuring any tabs in the code.
