If the program buffer Hit Ration is <98%, then what should
be done by the Basis consultant?
Answer Posted / rajesh chowdary pendyala
we can increase or decrease the buffer size based on the
below analysis.
1) buffer space or directories are not optimally defined
(more buffer swaps in st02 marked in red color)
2)new module is implemented by client so as per that we need
to change the buffer parameters.
3) mass transports to the production wich dis-locates the
objects from buffers.
4)when the instance is holding the load dus to fail over in llb.
if log on load balance is configured we need to synchronize
the buffers of the instances witch belong to same group.
for that we need to set the following parameters.
rdisp/buffer mod=send-on exe-on
rdisp/buffertime=60 sec
based on the above analysis and we can see the current
buffer parameters in st02----->shift+f5 and we can change
the parameters accordingly.
