What a manual tester should know about web servers?what he
tests in servers?
Answer Posted / naresh kimbahune
Manual Tester should know the architecture of the web
server and the data flow from client side to server.Web
server are nothing but the storage of the web pages or
information. We can call the required web pages fromm the
server to the client side by giving the specific URL.URL
means Universal Resourse Locator can be written in two ways
1.starting from http and 2.starting from https.
1.http:-hypertext transfer protocol and https:- hypertext
transfer protocol security which provides higher security
than other http used web servers.
The manual tester should test the paths given in url are
displaying the correct web page or not. That means to test
whether the web server responding correctly to the client
request or not.
