It starts with Faraday's law of induction i.e.V = N x d.
flux /dt.If the flux is purely sinusoidal,the relationship
is given by the universal EMF law E peak=2 pi x f x peak
flux x N.If you divide this by root 2 ,you get Erms nearly
equal to 4.44 x f x flux x N.
