if the power factor will increase more than unity thats mean current will drawn in the machine will be increase therefore due to the increase in current looses will be increase and supposed if we gonna get 80 % power at the o/p dn we get 70-75 %.

in the directional overcurrent and earthfault protection,normally we are setting the angle 45 deg lead for phase fault overcurrent and -45 deg lead for earthfault fro forward direction.but both the fault are operating on the same angle region only.why?how the relay will response?
