first of all stress:
It is the internal resistance of a body against external
forces.
Now Tensile Stress:
Simply it is the internal resistance of a body against any
external force in TENSION(Any force which tries to pull the
body to elongate it along its length)

Dear Sir, I am Shariq Sami. I joined BHEL as a Supervisor Trainee in May 2009 on diploma basis, right now i am an assistant Engineer and posted at Noida.
