Power factor is a measure of degree to which a given load
matches that of a pure resistance.
Power factor is a ratio of actual power(VIcosΦ) to apparent
power(VI), so it is given by cosΦ.
PF=1 (for resistive load).
PF=0 (for both inductive and capacitive load).
PF leads with capacitive load and lags with inductive load.

If we connect a motor and generator together (I mean that the generator gives the motor electricity and the motor gives the generator movement) regardless the losses. Will the generator still generate and the motor still move?
