Amebas are classified into two sub-classes, what are they?

There are two kinds of Amebas: the acellular (Myxomycetes),
of 1000 known species and the cellular (Acrasiomycotes), of
70 species have been identified.

The difference between them occurs during the plasmodial
stage.

The acellular slime molds have many nuclei but only one cell
wall during this stage, while the cellular ones are composed
of individual cells.

Moreover, slime molds, said to be a billion years old, could
be one of the first organisms formed by independent cells
joining together.

Myxomycetes (acellular slime molds):

Plasmodial Amoeba,Overtly Sexual,Feeding Cells Naked ,
Shift by differential growth.

Acrasiomycotes (cellular slime molds):


Pseudoplasmodial Amoeba,Feeding Cells Naked ,Some cells
covered by cellulose,Move bodily like a slug.
