If you want to install window xp on a system then please
follow the steps mention below:-
*1st insert Bootable window xp cd in cdrom.
* Then go into BIOS by pressing f2 or del key and after that
go to BOOT option in BIOS. Now check the 1st boot device
option if it is other than cdrom then change it and set it
to the cdrom for eg:- 1st boot device- cdrom.
2nd boot device- floppy
3rd boot device- hdd
now click on f10 to save change in BIOS settings.
you will see one pop up: "save and close with settings"
click yes.
system will restart.
at the time of system restart one message will shown in your
screen "press any key to boot from cd"
click any key immediately so that installation process start.
now follow all the instructions showing in the screen like
for eg: press f8 for agree, esc for don't repair.
create partition, format drive with ntfs or fat32 and all.
After doing this xp start copy all files from cd and restart.
Now graphical installation process start in which you will
have to enter date time, registration key etc.
