generally current carrying is depends on resistance of
conducting elements but we now pure conductors are not exists
so internal resistance is considered now calculation is made
as resistance directly proportional to area of conducting
element R=l*a/s
here l=length of conductor
a = area
s = specific conductance

how dia of wire and angles are calculated for overhead shielding wire to protect substation equipment from lightening strokes???
