Explain principle of Soft-starter & how its working???
Answer Posted / esveekayzee
for starting a rated motor with a DOL starter which draws 5-
6 times of load current initially which causes voltage
drops in line while a soft starter takes comparatively less
current and gradually decrease to the rated current.
but the main draw back of soft starter is its torque
remains low at the starting.

If there are two transformer having rating of 2.5mva, 6.6kv/440v(satr-star),and the load is 600kw then what is better to maintain less losses in transformer having both transformer in parellel or only single transformer connected to load? Please give calculated answer
True or false question. 1.The fuse provide phase and neutral 2.power loss in electrical circuit can take place in (resistance or inductance or capacitance). 3.two phase system each phase has separated by a phase difference of (90 or 180 or 270 or 45). 4.3 phase balanced star connected load neutral current shall be (line current or phase current or zero or unity)
