Hi friends
Functionality testing refers weather or not the the given component or feature of the s/w working according to requirement, here we are mainly concerned just to test weather or not the given component of the s/w is working
System testing refers weather or not the entire s/w meets customer requirements, here we are least concerned on the functionality of specific component of a s/w but we are giving more emphasis on the overall behavior of the s/w
Eg. consider a banking application, where you have to apply for OD (Over Draft).
Testing each and every component of the OD feature will be considered as FT
But apply for OD and OD approval will be considered as ST, where in ST we consider the overall behavior of the s/w
