What is the difference between business requirment document
and software requirement document?

Business requirements lists out the Business Goals.
Software requirements documents is derived from Business
requirements, as Rajesh said is more technical in nature.
Consider 'User Friendliness' of an application as a
business goal. Then the Software requirement for this goal
could be making any transaction in three clicks. If the
transaction is not done in 3 clicks, the customer would be
directed to a help desk executive.
Correct me if I am wrong.
