there are opposite defference between debit n credit.
1:-We are debited to this item like-Exps.
2:-We are credited to this item like Income.

A thypical Adjustment is: A building is acquired for €60000 plus VAT at 10%. The amount paid to the Vendor was entered in the Buildings Account. No entry made in the VAT account. Could you explain why the VAT amount is deducted from the VAT amount in the TB? And why it is sometimes an Asset in the BS. Thank you, Mary

how to we pass a purchase entry in item invoice mode where some advance has been paid to the party. the purchase entry should get offset with the advance payment entry so that it does not appear in the bill outstanding or bills due list. please guide.thank you
