These two degrees are one and the same. BE is the technical
degree given to candidates studying in united kingdom and
its member countries. It is equivalent to B.tech in India..
Before independence being under the British rule, degrees
here awarded were also known as B.E.So we can say that BE is
the historical name of B.tech in India.
