My surname is being mispelt in the degree certificate
instead of AIYAR it has been mentioned as IYER. Other
documents have the name as AIYAR and as per passport also
it is AIYAR. Will this create a problem for my L1 visa. I
am a Chartered Accountant and name in my CA certificate is
AIYAR.

Get an affidavit done for this - getting the name changed
in degree certificate is not an easy job

Hi, I went for L1B visa interview last week and VO told me that you are qualified but apply for H1 or Indivi L1. and he has written as Not clearly approvable on I129. so if i apply again what is the success rate? and he has not given me any slip and DD return also!!
My Company going to file L1-B next week.i completed my MCM FY in 2005 & due to health problem i was not able attend MCM final exam in 2006 hence i passed the MCM final in 2007 means i did 2 Year PG in 3 Year after that i have 3 year 6 month of IT experience.Do the 1 year passing diffrence in education can cause any issue in Visa. I have done Diploma in Mechanical engineering. I am going to attend interview for L1 VISA. Earlier I had worked in 3 companies and there was a gap of 6months in between. My L1 Blanket rejected in Aug 2014 . My company filed for L1 individual petition at Vermont service center and got RFE and then rejected on Oct 2014. I had applied for student visa in Dec 2010 and the visa was refused as the interviewer said that "I am not convinced". Then I again applied for visa interview in Jan 2011 and it again got refused for the same reason. Now I am getting chance to go to US for work (my company is sending me there).
