can we connect both delta and star to the transformer
secondary and for what reason?

Answer Posted / raul

yes, it is possible n frequently used ............delta is
connected to act as a tertiary winding which reduces the
harmonic contents of the induced currents, suppresses the
earth fault currents, providing auxiliary loads etc. and
the star is normally connected for d desired purposes i.e.
stepping up in case of DELTA STAR connection etc
