Can anyone please distinguish what is Inner join and Outer join

INNER JOIN MEANS, IF THE JOIN CONDITION SATISFIES THEN ONLY
BOTH TABLE RECORDS ARE JOINED OTHERWISE REJECTED.
IF THE JOIN TYPE IS OUTER JOIN MEANS THERE IS JOINED THE
RECORDS WITH MATCHING AND NON MATCHING RECORDS.
