Cardinality is applicable on both entity and attribute levels.
Attribute Level : GENDER[MALE,FEMALE] - cardinality 2
Entity Level: CUSTOMER[HOME ADDRESS, MAILING ADDRESS,
SHIPPING ADDRESS, BILLING ADDRESS] cardinality (1,4)
Customer has 1 to 4 addresses
CUSTOMERS[ORDERS] cardinality (0,N)
Customer may have zero or more orders
