Recruitment refers to the entire processes such as
advertising for a post, receiving applications from
candidates for the post, screening and scrutinizing the
applications including certificates of candidates’
qualifications, experiences, and other activities, making
shortlist, contacting test/interview or both, and the then
recruiting suitable candidates.
Selection refers to the act of selecting the suitable
candidates from the shortlist by a selection committee based
on the performance of candidates on test / interview or both.
