In UPS & inverter both are used for made D/C to A/C . In
inverter there is no PWM & we gets only quasi sine
wave .Where as in UPS there are PWM and we gets Sine wave.
For computer & other sofisticated devices required true
Sine wave hence UPS used & for lightning & other less
sofisticated equipments, inverter are used where required
only varing wave form which may not be true sine wave or
have quasi sine wave.
