In gas and water who's density is greater and why?

Answer Posted / engr. muhammad omer farooqi

density=mass/volume (density is equal to mass in a unit volume). Water being a liquid has its molecules in more compact form as compared to any gas; implying more mass in same amount of volume. Remember, in general, order of densities is as follows: solids>liquids>gases
