Yesterday (22nd Oct) I had my L1B visa interview. The
consulate rejected my VISA stating that I should go for L1
invidual VISA or H1B Visa. He just asked me 4 to 5
questions and then started writing something on the
computer. The questions were:
1)My employer
2)My education: BTECH
3)My client , inidan salary and salary in US
4)the team size of project in India and in US. I had told
around 50 in India and around 10 in US.
I gave all the answers correctly. Can you please let me
know the following:
1)what could be the reason of rejection ?
2)What should be the time gap before filing for L1
individual VISA again.
3)What are the chances of rejection of L1 individual visa?
4)What care should be taken next time during VISA interview?

Hi Swati,
Your L1B would certainly have a petitioner
mentioning your company has more than 50 employees in US.
If it is less then 50 then you need to go for individual
visa. Check your petition for this and assure that you dont
make the same msitake.

My H1 visa was filed through US employer in April 2008. After one month (in may 2008), my current employer in India initiated the L1 Blanket visa processing and i got the visa in September 2008. I went to US and worked there on L1 visa for one month and returned to India. In November 2008, i have attended the H1 visa interview as it got picked in lottary. During that interview, visa officer cancelled my L1 visa and put a query on H1. But i failed to submit the required docs by November 2009 as my US employer didn't provide them. Now the same employer in India initiated L1 blaket visa and the interview is schedled in next week. Could anyone share any information that would help me to give my best in the coming interview?? In all my certificates, name is mentioned as Arun Kumar GK...but in my passport my given name is Arun Kumar and my Surname is Krishna..Will that create any problem when i apply for US L1 visa? Please answer

Hi My Company initiated L1B for me.There is a spell change in my certificates,my name is Thejomayi Kalla ,in SSC and passport it appears same.but from intermediate to PG it is like Tejomayi K.Will it be a problem during interview.Please Advice.

Hi , My company has initiated for L1 Visa,however i have below concerns. I appeared for B.E final semester Exam in june-2009 and i cleared all subjects and passed in distinction,however since i was from Diploma i had arrears (Mathematics-1) which i cleared in jan-2010,Now my concern is ,I joined a company(present employer) in Nov-2009,but in 8th semester Markcard, university has clearly mentioned that "appeared and passed in 2010 january". Hi, I got rejected 3 times for B1 2 years back. but that time i was working for small company. now i am going to appear for the L1 visa. my profile has couple of changes, one is, i am working for a bigger well known company and now i have completed MCA. earlier when i got rejected B1, i only had MBA which is not a technical degree since i am into software development. My Company going to file L1-B next week.i completed my MCM FY in 2005 & due to health problem i was not able attend MCM final exam in 2006 hence i passed the MCM final in 2007 means i did 2 Year PG in 3 Year after that i have 3 year 6 month of IT experience.Do the 1 year passing diffrence in education can cause any issue in Visa. I am having 6.5 years of experience in IT and presently I am working in a reputed MNC. My company is soon going to apply for L1A for me. The reason I am worried because, the first company where I worked almost 2.7 years sold there business and presently there are no existence of it. Except the appointment as well as release letter from this company I don’t have any other documents like bank statement or form16 (As it was a small company we used to get the payment in cash.).
