xy = 600

now 10 bench are less and we need to add 2 student per
bench so equation will be
(x-10)(y+2) = 600
xy+2x-10y-20 = 600
putting the value of xy
600+2x-10y-20 = 600
2x-10y = 20
x-5y = 10
putting value of x=600/y
y2+2y-120=0 i.e y=10, or y = -12
