Pre_Session and Post_Session are availble in
Source_Qualifier and Target.
In SQ:
Pre_Session:(Pre_SQL)
Something we can do before reading data form Source
Ex: delete some temp files
Pre_Session:(Post_SQL)
Something we can do after reading data form Source
Ex: clean the data according to business requirement.
