Grade slab or SLAB on grade.....
The Concrete slab resting on the graded basement(subgrade)
is slab on grade. Normally it is widely used in undustries
where the regular traffic movement is allowed.

What should be the maximum allowable time for placing ready mix concrete? The specification requires concrete placement within 90 minutes of batching at the plant. I used Etabs software to analyse a high-rise building. And I want to use templated UBC-codes inside to calculate the Seismic load. My question is: whether or not I have to control the seismic load by base shear load which is manual calculation? (just for more clarification: I can control this by input the scale factor into Eartquake definition in Etabs) I would highly appreciate your answer.
Does degree of bend of rebars has any effect on strength of the member? For example- if a beam is designed with 45 degree bent up bar with respect to architechtural needs and is not 45 in practical so will there be any reduction in the strength of member?
