the improper functioning of the thyroid gland results in
Goitre & simple goitre - the minute diff' b/w those two is
The pendulose type of neck i.e., drooping in case of goitre
in simple goitre the phenomenon is not that intense as in
goitre.
....this is mainly due to the deficiency of iodine which
consequently results in the decreased production of T3 , T4
and thyroxine harmones in the body.
