what is the basic principal of vertax flow meter

Answer Posted / abhishek k sharma

vortex is natural phenomena occurring when liquid flow
around a bluff object.
For e.g when we throw the stone in water it generates vortex
in round circle.
same happens when a object is placed in between running liquid.
In vortex flow meter same is used and the frequency of
vortex generated is directly proportional to velocity of
liquid flowin.
