What is deadlock? How do you avoid it?
Answer Posted / nilima islam
A set of processes is in a deadlock state when every process
in the set is waiting for an event that can be caused only
by another process in the set.
We can avoid deadlock by avoiding the following conditions:
1.Mutual exclusion
2.Hold & wait
3.No preemption
4.Circular wait
