words can be formed of 1,2,3, and 4 alphabets

word with 1 alphabet=4

word with 2 alphabet= 4*4=16

word with 3 alphabet= 4*4$=64

word with 4 alphabets = 4*4*4*4=256

total words possible =4+16+64+256=340
