General Ledger is the central repository of all accounting
information in Oracle Applications. It provides the
following functionality: General Accounting, Budgeting,
Multiple Currencies, Intercompany Accounting, Cost
Accounting, Consolidation and Financial Reporting.
GL is the destination for all accounting entries.

HI, once we create the standard invoice then we can get journal entry item expense a/c-dr to liability a.c then item it will reflect through inventory, but liability a/c . it will reflect from GL , it is possible .
