I applied for spring and my visa appointment date is on 10th
jan 2011,but the problem is my joining date is on 6th jan
and i got permission from the university for only 2days.how
could i convice vo regarding this plzz help me out....

it is not necessary that you should have
extension.....sometime they r giving visa bcz yr school is
already start......so don worry just don 4get to take that
extension of 2days.....

I have a boyfriend who is Mexican and is interested in coming to the US to study English ( he has a degree in international relations). He's interested in studying at a language school. If he chooses to study part time he can study under a visitors visa. Which would be easier to obtain given that he recently has been working in france for 9 months. Also would it hurt or harm him to say that i would sponsor him?

My interview is few days away and am applying for a us student visa. I have completed my high school in 2005 and after that did a one year course of computer till 2006 and after that was helping my parents with there business till 2007 June. I wish to do my graduate studies in one of the us universities in the field of computer science starting Fall 2010 and am waiting admission information from 1-2 univs. Two years back, I had attempted for H1-B visa which was put on hold. Subsequently since I got a good job in India, I did not pursue H1-B visa. Now I wish to continue with my studies after getting some job experience. My problem What shoudl I write in the DS-160 column asking: Whether you had applied for US visa earlier, if so what is the result. Whether I should write: applied for H1-B visa but put on hold or applied for H1-B visa, denied. Whether this will come in the way of my securing F-1 visa now?
