Why LT cables are not sized based on short circuit capacity.

Short Circuit fault levels of LT systems are low & all LT
cables can bear short Circuit faults. But problem with the
LT cables is of voltage drop.For this voltage drop
calcultions are done to see if the voltage drop is within
the permissible limit for the selected lenght of cable
being used for the rquired current.
