A person pays a tax of 10%,if his salary increases by 10%
he need to pay a tax of 15%.The total gain he obtains after
increment in salary is 350Rs .What is his salary?

let his salary be x.
his tax amount is x/10
therefore his savings at 10% tax is 9x/10
his new salary is 11x/10
his new tax amount is 33x/200
therefore his new savings is 0.935x
the difference is 0.035x =350
therefore THE SALARY IS X=Rs.10000
if salary increased by 10% then it is Rs.11000
