SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle): refers to the stages involved in DEVELOPMENT of a project.
Stages can be: Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Implementation/Coding, Testing, Maintenance.
STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle): refers to the stages involved in TESTING of project.
Stages can be: Test Plan, Test Analysis, Test Design, Execution, Maintenance (Designing new test cases for new functionalities).
