HI this is chinni prakash from hyderabad to day i attended NIC Scientific officer/engineer-SB (programmer) exam. The exam consists of 100 questions part -A 75 Q and Part -B 25 Q. Part A carries 1 mark for each question and part B carries 3 Marks for each question.. Total marks 150.Negative marking is there. The questions are mainly based on Operating systems like (windows,linux and unix) , Data structures (about graphs, tress , nodes) and networking basics regarding ip addresses, about sql,basic questions from rsa, algorithams,problem on round robin scheduling, semaphores, dead locks, multimedia concepts, c program outputs etcc....these are the models which i remember..so friends go through the basic concepts of operating systems well.... you will crack the exam... all the best ... byeeeeeeeeee
