Hi,

This is related to Hardware configuration .If there are 2
hardware devices Harddisk and CD Rom ,these 2 are connected
with an IDE cable in CPU and IDE cable is divided into 2
slots the one connected to first slot is called as primary
storage device and the one connected to second slot is
considered as secondary storage device.

even a Jumper setting in hdd and cdrom can make changes to
primary and secondary storage device.
