What is the use of conservater, bucchos relay, breather in
a transformer?

Bucholz relay is the protective deivce which protect the
transfomer from overload,overheat,short ckt protection.
when ever any over load or short ckt happen ,the first
thing increase which is temp of transfomr and this relay is
connected with temp sensor controller and these realy has 2
NO contact first alarm contact and another is tripping
contact.

breather as name indicate ,when the temp of oil get
increasing it expand and Dry air of conservator tank goes
out,after cooling the oil ,again conservator tank need Dry
air ,which is supplied by breather and silica gel takes out
the moisture from this air.

conservator tank is stored the cools oil.
