centrifugal pump is a rotodynamic pump where as positive
displacement pumps include reciprocating pump.In centrifugal
pump a rotating rotor and a stationary stator(casing) are
used to increase the fluid pressure.In reciprocating pump,a
piston is used to increase the fluid pressure.
