In addition to the above,
Laminar flow shows a parabolic flow while a Turbulent flow
shows an irregular flow. This can be seen when you put a
piece of floating material like paper, small wood etc on
the flowing liquid.
But for Transient or the Partial flow, its normally based
on the assumptions, even if we know the Reynolds number,
which includes the type of Liquid, its viscosity, and
impurities too.
