What is the Normal range for fast blood sugar?
Answer Posted / anil kumarapuram
According to WHO the normal fasting blood sugar is 70-
110 mg/dl. But American Diabetes Association says it is 70-
99 m/dl. WHO says 110- 125 mg/dl is impaired fasting
glucose whereas ADA this range is 100- 125 mg/dl. WHO
avoids those in the range of 100 -110 mg/dl only because
of the fact that a pretty lot of people may be
diagonised for impaired fasting glucose. Earlier the
better . So it is better to prefer the value adopted by
ADA for indivijual health sake.
